Microsoft Game Pass Subnautica Mac

December 14th 2020

Today we are talking to two authors from the Witcher 3 community: wiggolp and Damastor - both of whom have managed to create new quest mods for the game, adding new areas, dialogue, and more! BigBizkit: To start this off, let me ask you, wiggolp, about your mod adding a completely new quest to the game - Ciri’s Sole Memento. The game's director, Charlie Cleveland, wrote on the game's official forums, 'Back in our early prototypes we always had multiplayer in the back of our mind. But we had so much to learn about the game, multiplayer was never a priority. Eventually we hit early access and now it would take many man-years to add any kind of multiplayer to Subnautica. Below Zero extends the story of the Subnautica universe, diving deep into the mystery introduced in the original game. About the development team Below Zero is created by Unknown Worlds, a small studio that traces its roots back to the 2002 Half-Life mod Natural Selection.

Subnautica Below Zero is going into Early Access on Mac & Windows PC. We want to bring Below Zero to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 as soon as possible. We don’t know when it will be, and predicting dates is a Bad Thing™️ – We don’t want to disappoint you by speculating about a date we don’t know we can hit.

On Xbox One, we may be able to release Below Zero in Game Preview (Microsoft’s “Early Access” program) before launch. We can’t promise this, but we are exploring the possibility. Sony does not allow Early Access games, so we will not be releasing any kind of preview on PlayStation.

We are aiming to release the 1.0 version of Below Zero simultaneously on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Mac, and Windows PC. We don’t know if we can do it, but that is our target, and we’ll keep you updated on our progress.

In the mean time, we are continuing to work on updates for the original Subnautica on both Xbox and PlayStation.
