Pacifist 3.6.2

pacifist 3.6.2

Pacifist opens pkg-installer packages, .dmg disk images, ZIP, TAR. tar.gz, .tar.bz2, .pax .xar and archives, and many others, as well as allow to extract or install individual files from them. This is useful if you need to install only one file from the package, rather than the entire package (for example, if you deleted the Preview application and need to reinstall it, but not the entire operating system), or if you want to check the downloaded package to see, what it will do before installing it. Pacifist can also download certain types of files via HTTP, if you want to extract a single file from a large ZIP-file without waiting for the entire file to download. Finally, Pacifist can examine the kernel extensions installed in your system to let you see what installer installed them, and whether the installation program has made Apple’s, or a third party.
